"Welcome to my World"

Raymond, Raymond, Raymond. Who is Raymond? Raymond is a comedian who has logical humor. He also has a show called “Everybody Loves Raymond.” Ray is Italian with typical Italian parents. He is a “mamma’s boy” and what "Ray wants, Ray gets." Rays mom, Marie Burone, has this obsurb idea that Ray does nothing wrong.

Deborah, Rays wife, likes to call Ray an "Idiot" when he does dumb stuff. We have a saying in our house about things we can’t find. It started when Richard, my husband, opens the refrigerator to get out the sour cream. Well, of course he could not find it. So, naturally I get up, go to the refrigerator, move some things out of the way and hand it to him. Then we started saying, “Move something Richard!” That is something that occurs regularly in our house. So now, even if my girls are looking for something and can’t find it, one of us will shout out “Move something Richard!” It can sometimes also follow that with the word “Idiot”.

Here is one of my all time favorites is the Mother-in-Law. I love my mother-in-law. She doesn’t come over to our house like Marie, does to Deborah, but she is always knows whats going on. She enjoys drama. Everything to her is a tragedy. From something as small as, “do my shoes match my outfit” to “Oh my! What if the puppies are born and I am at work!”

My husband doesn’t play golf, but he does play “WOW”, “World of Warcraft.” He will sit for hours playing the game and not think about his surroundings. This is one of the situations I have with my mother-in-law. When it comes to her son everything is okay for instance, the addiction my husband has with “WOW” is okay because he is not in the bars out drinking. Now again, here comes that word “Idiot”. Then I say, “Ruth he pays no attention to his family” but it’s okay as long as he is not in the bars. This reminds of Marie as long as her son is happy everything is fine. God forbid we upset her son.

Now that is all said and done my show is over. I must leave you with this tid-bit of information. My husband is now tries to be more helpful, since I am in school. Though, I must say that “WOW” is still priority to him. Well, I am still doing the laundry, washing the dishes, some cooking and working two jobs. I also make sure the girls are doing homework, getting to school on time and whatever else needs to be done. This is my favorite saying and all the reasons above,“Welcome to my World!”
